Now that the trailer for Avengers: Infinity War has finally arrived and broken all records – and blown all minds – it's time for Hollywood to come up with something new.

Which is exactly what it's done for the upcoming all-singing, all-dancing The Greatest Showman, as its stars recently took part in the first ever live trailer ahead of its release.

Fortunately, the likes of Hugh Jackman, Zendaya, Zac Efron and Keala Settle are complete and utter pros, so temporarily turning the film into a live musical totally paid off.

Have a watch of the history-making teaser below. Warning: You'll have this song stuck in your head all day.

According to its star Hugh Jackman, The Greatest Showman has been designed to "make people happy" and put a "smile on their face", so that's that box ticked, then.

Talking to Digital Spy about the difference between the upcoming project and his recent Wolverine swansong Logan, he said: "I mean, one couldn't be lighter and one couldn't be darker, really.

"I think, maybe me and the audience needed some kind of antidote to that, and that's what this is."

Adding that the film is meant for pretty much everyone, from 5-year-olds to 90-year-olds, Hugh continued: "It's broad... We leave you with great music and dance, and having a good time."

The Greatest Showman will be released on 20 December in the US and 26 December in the UK.
