Not only is a Crystal Maze revival apparently in the works - but its new host is a bonafide Time Lord.
21 years after the game show loved above all others signed off, Channel 4 is plotting to bring it back for a star-studded special - potentially hosted by Doctor Who's David Tennant (via The Sun).
The Crystal Maze is reportedly initially being eyed as a one-off special for Stand Up To Cancer, with the possibility of a full series if ratings are strong enough.
Tennant's involvement is not yet a done deal - according to the newspaper - although his mastery of the TARDIS definitely has prepared him to handle those time crystals.
While it's been decades since The Crystal Maze originally aired on Channel 4, an Indiegogo-funded live attraction based on the game show opened in north London this past spring.
