After 600 episodes, statistically speaking, even a cartoon about a yellow family will make some accurate predictions. But, even though The Simpsons is going into a record-setting 30 seasons, they've gotten some things eerily right—like President Trump, World Cup winners, celebrity deaths, et cetera, et cetera.

And now there's another one The Simpsons can add to that list: Lady Gaga's Super Bowl Halftime Show. In 2012, Gaga was a guest star on an episode of the long-running animated series, in which she flew over the heads of the Springfieldians on a harness. Well, that's exactly what IRL Gaga did at the Super Bowl yesterday. The only thing missing: a metal bra that shoots fire.

Though, as we've learned, Simpsons predictions—in a world that's become its own bizarre cartoon satire—are nothing to be unexpected. In fact, Simpsons executive producer Al Jean told Esquire.com about the creepiest prediction the show has made:

The one that was really odd—and I can't understand how this happened, it was so bizarre—in our New York show before, in 1998, there was a pamphlet that said, "New York on $9 a day," and then the World Trade Towers were right behind the nine, and it looked like 9/11. If you had designed something to reflect it, you couldn't have made a design that would've made it look any clearer. So that one—that spooks me to this day. That is really odd.

It'll be really weird when we all evolve into four-fingered yellow people.
