The Lannister Army takes no prisoners in brand new footage from Game of Thrones' upcoming seventh season.

Lucky fans in Spain were able to preview the upcoming episodes over the weekend as part of a pop-up attraction, but thankfully HBO's Spanish affiliate brought cameras along for the ride.

Most interesting within this teaser is a shot of Jaime Lannister (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau) riding triumphantly as he leads the Lannister Army into the field of battle — as well as shots of bloody hand-to-hand combat among Queen Cersei's forces.

The footage isn't totally Lannister-centric, however. There's also a summoning of the Northern houses for an address from their king Jon Snow (Kit Harington), as well as Daenerys (Emilia Clarke) touring her ancestral home of Dragonstone.

The seventh season of Game of Thrones begins the ramp-up to next year's swansong, as Jon Snow in the North, Daenerys on the march and Cersei in King's Landing prepare for battle with each other… and with the Night's King.

Because the stakes are so much higher this season, HBO has given six of the seven episodes extended run times - including a movie-length seventh season finale.

The Emmy-winning series is also taking every possible precaution to preserve its secrets by refusing to hand over previews of each episode to critics ahead of time.
