A poll has revealed which piece of Black Mirror technology viewers would most want to use.

The dystopian Netflix series has featured several pieces of tech that are as yet unavailable to the public.

But given that Charlie Brooker has proved himself quite the prophet, there's every chance we could see some of these innovations in the future – and now a YouGov poll has put 11 of them to the public to see which ones Brits would most like to will into existence. We think the answer may surprise you.

The survey included technology seen in season four episodes 'Crocodile', 'Hang the DJ', 'USS Callister' and 'Arkangel', but the most popular device actually comes courtesy of season one.

Taken from the 'The Entire History of You', the implant allows users to record everything they hear and see, meaning footage can be stored and rewatched at any time.

Almost three in ten Brits (29%) said that they would be willing to be implanted with the wearable tech, making it the most popular innovation out of the 111 asked about.

The least popular invention was the app from season three episode 'Nosedive', which allows users to rate and be rated on every societal action, with only 7% of those polls willing to use it.
