It was Jeff Goldblum vs. T-Rex once again in Universal's second TV spot for Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom during the Super Bowl last night,

In the ad for Jeep, Goldblum recreates one of his most iconic scenes as Ian Malcolm in an homage to Steven Spielberg's 1993 movie Jurassic Park.

The clip starts with a look at Goldblum as Malcolm 25 years ago as he attempts to outrun a Tyrannosaurus Rex – before it shifts to 2018, and Goldblum in a new Jeep Wrangler.

Except this time, Goldblum ends up chasing the T-Rex, calmly saying: "How do you like it now, my friend?"

The Ian Malcolm ad followed an extended look at JA Bayona's sequel, which invited fans back into the park.

Only this time stars Bryce Dallas Howard (Claire Dearing) and Chris Pratt (Owen Grady) are rescuing the dinosaurs rather than running in fear from them. (OK, they're also running in fear from them.)

Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom brings back several characters from the original trilogy, including the parks's suddenly-sinister geneticist BD Wong and, of course, Jeff Goldblum. Joining the returning cast are James Cromwell and Toby Jones.

Goldblum has also hinted that Laura Dern's character Ellie Sattler, from the first Jurassic Park, may also make a surprise appearance in the upcoming sequel. Check out the full trailer below:
