Jerry Seinfeld is suddenly sounding much less like the infamous Soup Nazi when the topic of a Seinfeld revival comes up in conversation.

For years now, it's been "No reunion for you!" whenever the questions are broached about Seinfeld and his co-workers bringing back the all-time classic comedy series.

But with the soon-to-air revivals of fellow '90s sitcoms Roseanne and Murphy Brown in the works, suddenly Jerry also seems open to some more banter with George, Elaine and Kramer.

During an interview on The Ellen DeGeneres Show on Tuesday (February 13), the comedian gave an unexpected answer when Ellen asked if more Seinfeld is even in the realm of possibility.

"It's possible," Jerry smiled, as the studio started wildly cheering.

That's literally all he said, but fans will almost certainly be pouncing on that slight hope. While we wait for more info, keep in mind that there actually have been a few pseudo-Seinfeld reunions over the last few years.

Seinfeld, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Jason Alexander and Michael Richards previously guest starred in a full season of their former writer Larry David's improvisational sitcom Curb Your Enthusiasm, and even filmed 'new Seinfeld scenes' for the show.

Various cast members have also guest starred in Jerry's webseries Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee over the years, and even teamed up for a Super Bowl ad a few years ago.

Seinfeld won 10 Primetime Emmy Awards throughout its original run on NBC and attracted an incredible 76 million viewers for its series finale in May 1998.
