Jennifer Lawrence has revealed she's no longer afraid to take on risky roles, after playing a Russian spy in Red Sparrow.

During the premiere of the thriller, she spoke to Entertainment Tonight about no longer having the fear or insecurity that she once had.

She said that the whole crew on set made her feel very comfortable and because of that, she probably got too relaxed and made everyone else feel awkward.

"Everybody made me feel so comfortable that I probably at a certain point started making everybody else uncomfortable. Because I'd be like 'I don't want the robe. I'm hot. I'm eating.' Everybody's like, 'She needs to cover up.'"

During the film, there is one scene in which Lawrence is completely naked. It's a nightmare sequence which finds her nude in front of a classroom full of people. But Lawrence has insisted she'll now take on any role where the character speaks to her personally and won't avoid them because of nudity.

She said: "So you know I'm always gonna take on roles for the same reason, you know, the character speaks to me and the director and the story. But I'm no longer gonna let that be a factor in my decision making."

She even added that it wasn't the nudity that scared her the most during filming, but the Russian accent she had to learn.

Red Sparrow, directed by Hunger Games' Francis Lawrence, is in cinemas on 1 March in the UK and 2 March in the US.
