You know how Jennifer Lawrence is taking a year's break from acting? Well, she's not actually taking a year's break from acting.

"I'm going to take the next year off," she previously told Entertainment Tonight. "I'm going to be working with this organisation as a part of Represent.Us, trying to get young people engaged politically on a local level."

"It doesn't have anything to do with partisan [politics]," she added. "It's just anti-corruption and stuff, trying to pass state by state laws that can help prevent corruption, fix our democracy."

Now, a representative for J-Law has told Entertainment Weekly that she will return to work when one of several projects in development is ready to go...

This could be any of the following (via IMDB): Ron Howard's Zelda, Adam McKay's Bad Blood, Luca Guadagnino's Burial Rites, an untitled project with Amy Schumer, Francis Lawrence's Marita, Steven Spielberg's It's What I Do, or The Dive.

Red Sparrow star Lawrence attended Sunday night's BAFTA Film Awards, where she presented the award for Best British Film to the night's biggest winner Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri.

She also hit the red carpet in black alongside her fellow celebrities and Time's Up supporters, as well as protest group Sisters Uncut.
