If you were worried that you might not be seeing Tom Hardy in his full symbiotic glory in Venom, fear not! As the man himself has assured fans he will be suiting up for the film.
When the teaser trailer for Venom dropped there was one glaring omission - Hardy's alter-ego was nowhere to be seen.
OK, it hinted at it towards the end when you see Hardy's character Eddie Brock writhing around in a hospital gown, but it was not the big reveal everyone was expecting.
Then last week, a supposed plot leak dropped which hinted that Hardy's symbiote anti-hero was in fact manifested within Eddie Brock’s veins, and that we would only get a glimpse of the full ‘Venom’ suit at the very end of the film.
It didn't take long for Hardy to take to Instagram, calling the rumours nothing more than "asinine" claims.
He posted a 'Venom' skull and cross-bones shirt with the caption: "just sayin Venom suit - myths usually asinine circulate about things usually by those who have failed to garner credible intel".
Be a mate Hardy – all we need now is a follow-up post of what the suit actually looks like.
Venom wrapped filming last month, and will be hitting cinemas on 5 October in the UK and US.
