Apple has just launched a new line of iPads during its live broadcast announcement in Brooklyn, New York.

The trillion-dollar company has capitalised on an insanely busy 2018 by dropping a bunch of new products just in time for Black Friday.

The theme for the announcement was "Making", which Apple has been busy doing all year.

As expected, the new line of tech follows on from the strong outing back in August when Apple launched the iPhone XS, XR and XS Max.

Tim Cook took to the stage to rapturous applause, but how do Apple's new products stack up and how much are they?

Check out our rundown of all the new Apple products as well as the best deals and where to buy them.

iPad Pro

This is the biggest upgrade to the iPad Pro since 2015 and drags it right up into the 21st Century.

Two new (11" and 12.9") LCD stretches from edge-to-edge and top-to-bottom. Apple is calling the new screen a liquid display, similar to the screen seen in the newly launched iPhone XR.

The new iPad Pro has the exact same screen size, but in a smaller body, which gives the whole device a "full-screen" look.

The new iPad Pro is thinner and lighter and also now comes packed with FaceID. We expected Apple to announce this feature, so there are no surprises here. It takes the same tech seen in the most recent iPhone products and just adds it to the bigger screen - perfect.

The impressive part about this is that Face ID will recognise your lovely mug in multiple orientations - so you can hold the iPad however you want and it will still unlock.

Also returning from the iPhone XS, XS Max and X, there is now no Home button. A simple swipe up will now do the same job as the home button, which makes the screen look huge, in all honesty.

An A12X Bionic processor powers the new iPad Pro and is a massive jump in performance speed and efficiency.

An 7-core GPU and an 8-core CPU makes the iPad more than 90% faster than previous models and 92% faster than all portable PCs released in 2018. Apple are serious with the launch of the new iPad.

USB C is here at last. Apple has listened and added USB C, which will let you charge your iPhone while also using your new iPad. A cool new pencil will also make designing and doodling a breeze.

MacBook Air

The MacBook series has received little love from Apple over the years. Ever since Steve Jobs pulled the MacBook Air out of an envelope on stage back in 2008, we have been waiting for something new from Apple's laptops.

But it appears 2018 is the year of change, as Apple announced the launch of a new MacBook Air.

What we all want in the new MacBook Air, according to Tim, is a new Retina Display.

The 13.3" screen is powerful, capable of showing more than 4 million pixels on a stretched screen that reduces the size of the bezels.

TouchID also moves onto the Air, letting you unlock your account or pay for items online by simply holding your finger on the sensor on the keyboard.

A slightly larger (20%) touchpad is touch sensitive for easier control of your mouse, while a boosted stereo makes audio performance significantly better, jumping up to 25% louder than last year's model.

Mac Mini

"The Beast". Also known as the Mac Mini. This is the biggest update to the Mac Mini to date and significantly bumps up its power.

The new Mac will start with four cores, but will have a six-core processor to make it incredibly agile. A 60% faster graphics card will also make it better at editing.

A 64GB storage with a 2TB SSD will make it capable of holding almost all your tasks, no matter what.
