While travel might not be the first thing that springs to mind when it comes to Black Friday, plenty of hotel booking sites, airlines and train companies are slashing prices to get in on the madness.

This means you can snap up deals on a weekend in New York, a swim-up oceanfront suite in Mexico or even a safari adventure in South Africa. So instead of a buying yet another speaker or fifteen pairs of socks, invest in some experiences to kick off your 2024 right. You'll thank us when next year rolls around.

Many of the offers are already discounted, but to get the real bang for your pound, you need to enter the code BLACKFRIDAY at checkout for up to £200 off each holiday.

The discount varies based on spending: starting with £25 off for £650 or more spent on flight and car packages, increasing to £50 off for £1,250 or more spent on flight and hotel or flight and car deals, £100 off for £2,500 or more spent, and a whopping £200 off for £5,000 or more spent.

      Eurostar

Last Black Friday was a bit of a dud if you were looking for cheap train tickets to Europe from London. This year, the rail firm appears to have listened and upped their Black Friday game somewhat.

This year, there are thousands of discounted trips from London St Pancras to Paris, Brussels, Lille, Rotterdam, and Amsterdam, with fares as low as £39 each way. Usually costing over £100 during peak times, this deal is a pocket-friendly steal. Plus, it's a more eco-friendly choice compared to flying.

This limited-time offer runs until November 27, so act fast. Once these deals are gone, they're gone.

      Trainline

The deals that departed platform four last Black Friday included a genuinely pretty wild 50% off railcards which will get you a third off all mainline rail travel, and some of which you can link up with an Oyster to get a third off Tube and TFL rail travel.

Not quite so good this year, but still worth a mention.

Throughout November, you can get a 30% discount on Railcards using code "ilovetrains".

Black Friday discounts also apply to a range of popular UK routes: London to Brighton starts at £5.50, while trips to Manchester and Edinburgh are £22.80 and £26.90 respectively.

You can also get 10% off European journeys via the Trainline app with code "HAPPYTRAVELS" until December 10, 2023, covering cities like Paris, London, Amsterdam, and Brussels.
