With Covid-19 forcing swathes of Europe and America into self-isolation and social distancing, even the beautiful and famous are being forced to stay inside. While it might be hard to sympathise with someone 'stuck' inside a bedroom that looks like a suite at the Four Seasons, we should be grateful that people with a large audience are encouraging their followers to self-isolate and practise social distancing.

Taylor Swift has shared an image of her bug-eyed cat telling fans, 'For Meredith, self quarantining is a way of life. Be like Meredith.' Of course, Meredith probably hasn't spent the last two weeks digesting rolling news, but she's as good a mascot for these times as any.
