As soon as Nike released a promotional campaign featuring Nigeria's new stripes, the Twitterverse went hysterical - and rightly so. A staggered zig zag design is as cool on the pitch as it is off it, while its counterpart is a retro nod to football days of yore. It's very good, is what we're basically saying.

What's more, it broke pre-order records with a staggering 3 million kits sold. That's more than Manchester United flogged for the entirety of 2016.
