Fresh on the chunky heels (and Michael Jackson-inspired penny loafers) of his second Louis Vuitton show in Paris, Virgil Abloh has continued his already-impressive 2019 output with a new MR PORTER collaboration.

MR PORTER x Off-White is a wide-ranging, 44-piece collection devised by Abloh with the title ‘MODERN OFFICE’. It is, in name at least, the streetwear visionary's spin on your tired work attire: think beautiful silk camp-collar shirts, wide-leg linen trousers and jersey T-shirts all in office-appropriate hues but with flecks of colour and logos. There's even an iPhone X cover to casually slide out during your next monthly sales meeting.

True, you'd need to work in a fairly liberal industry for this to really make up your 9-5 uniform. But the collection is a smart move for MR PORTER, which has seen a huge increase in interest in streetwear from customers over the past couple of years.

"We felt this was the right time to partner with more of a ‘hype’ brand to offer our customers something different", George Archer, a Buyer at MR PORTER, said. "Off-White was of course the natural go-to, even more so with Virgil’s phenomenal presence in the industry at the moment which doesn’t seem to be slowing down at all."

For his part, Abloh returned the love, telling L'Officiel USA: "Securing the Mr Porter account has always been a goal for me. Not only have I admired it being a consumer in the marketplace and shopping it, but because I could always see my brand aligned with it."

The result? A collection perfect for men who demand high quality and fancy tipping their toe into streetwear. Here's our picks from the full collection.
