Consider the next few months a preparation; a preparation for the times in which we can go outside and look our best and have a real big fun party. And right on cue, Palace's latest collab with Evisu is your best bet for when that time comes.

Just today, the cult skateboarding brand has announced a crossover with a brand best-known on the party scene in the Nineties and early Noughties. And like its initial rise to power, Evisu's second coming combines the infinity triangle of Palace with its own bounce mark logo. Oh, and there's denim. Lots and lots of lovely denim.

For that's Evisu's signature – quality Japanese selvedge denim – which sits neatly with a wider collection of cotton sweats, totes, bucket hats, T-shirts and heavy gauge hoodies. All good things. Better still is a promotional video released in tandem with the collection, featuring Lucien Clarke and Rory Milanese from Palace's own skate team alongside London jungle MC Skibdee.

It's all very fun. And as menswear leans back into its classic roots once more, Palace x Evisu is a refreshing change of pace that looks at the brighter side of streetwear, the zesty part that's best saved for the big light at the end of the tunnel party. Or a Houseparty pub quiz, at the very least.
