MSCHF, the Brooklyn-based art collective behind the Jimmy Fallon Gobstompers, Lil Nas X Satan Air Max 97s and Vans Old Skool-inspired Tyga Wavys is wreaking havoc once more with a trainer (if you can call it that) that resembles a walker boot, otherwise known as a foot brace.

The off-centre tread comprises a black sockliner encased inside a greyish exterior. Atop, two adjustable black straps finish the orthopaedic design, whilst a hit of bright blue on the insole and outsole adds a required twist.

To demonstrate how one may pull off such an experimental footwear offering, MSCHF have enlisted the help of Bloody Osiris. The Harlem bellwether – known for his work as a model, stylist and creative director – stars in the AC1 campaign wearing the boots with a straight fire twenty-tens-inspired streetwear ensemble, helping the collective kickstart a straight-outta-hospital trend.

The MSCHF AC1 will drop in limited quantities on Wednesday 19th October at 7pm BST over on MSCHF Sneakers and in End’s London location. As for the price, they’ll cost $450. Good luck securing a pair. Or rather, break a leg.
