Mizuno continues its voyage towards the upper echelons of the sneakerverse with the Fisherman Pack, the long-established Japanese marque’s ultimate drop of 2022. Comprising three silhouettes, the pack commemorates the fishing towns of its self-sufficient homeland via an oceanic palette and trawling-inspired details.

Leading the shoal is a Wave Prophecy LS. Distinguishable, as usual, by its Infinity Wave midsole complete with AIRmesh breathability, the modernistic design is refreshed with down-home textiles shrouded in nautical hues, namely 'Bering Sea’, ‘silver cloud’ and ‘silver blue’.

Swimming abreast is a Mizuno Wave 10 – a Noughties-born model initially designed for runners, complete with thermoplastic Wave technology – cast in ‘Bering Sea’ and ‘silver blue’. Beyond the colour palette, the kick nods to the pack’s maritime theme with its net-like overlays and fish-embellished heel badge.

Last up on the menu is a ‘Bering Sea’, ‘silver’ and ‘silver blue’ Wave Mujin TL. Aside from the silhouette's intrinsic features – the functional heel tab, furrowed midsole, Michelin outsole etc. – the sneaker makes an impression with its logo-sheathing mesh layer, sea life-adorned insole and weathered suede panels redolent of a fisherman’s attire.
