The Only Winter Coat You Need, According to Milan’s Most Stylish Men

Milan Fashion Week kicked off last weekend, with many of fashion’s biggest brands staging their Fall/Winter 2024 shows – Gucci, Giorgio Armani, Fendi, Dolce & Gabbana and Prada among them.
Whatever went down on the catwalks – and there was no shortage of thought-provoking ideas, including the collection inspired by Princess Anne (Fendi) and the designer who doubled-down on his nautical theme so convincingly he sent his models out parading around a purpose-built lighthouse (Giorgio Armani)* – out on the streets people brought their A-game, too.
Big Coat Season was in full effect. And although January's coats came in all shapes, sizes, colours and lengths, there was one overriding trend it was impossible to ignore – these coats were LOUD, baby! Here’s what we saw.
