Shrub: Cocktail’s Next Big Thing

The practice of making “shrub” is being revived at places like the Sun Liquor lounge. A shrub is a syrupy concoction make from preserved fruit and often added to with some form of alcohol, and use to flavour sodas or cocktails, sometimes as a replacement for vermouth.
