The Bacon Naan Roll: It's Time To Rethink Breakfast

Indian inspiration meets the classic breakfast roll

Messing with a classic is a bold move. But when the outcome is crispy bacon smothered in chilli jam, cream cheese and herbs, encased in a fresh-baked naan, all we can do is applaud the inventor’s bravery.

Indian all-day café Dishoom came up with this Bombay twist on the British breakfast bap a while back.

What’s new is their short-term partnership with award-covered butcher The Ginger Pig. Until 2 November, the legendary meat purveyors’ five day dry-cured rock salt and demerara sugar covered bacon will find a home in Dishoom’s tandoori baked bread.
