In celebration of a good whisky cocktail, we asked the experts at Johnnie Walker Gold Label Reserve to bring you four quick, easy and refreshing recipes.

1 | Gentleman’s Old Fashioned

A twist on the classic Old Fashioned, combining cinnamon and orange. 

Ingredients:
50ml Johnnie Walker Gold Label Reserve
20ml Cinnamon syrup
Dash of orange bitters

Glass: Rocks
        
Method: Dilute the cinnamon syrup in the whiskey, then add the bitters and ice whilst stirring.

Garnish: orange twist (aromatised)

2 | Johnnie Walker Summer Twist

A long Johnnie Walker Gold Label Reserve cocktail which combines cloudy apple and citrus. Perfect for a mid-afternoon refresher.

Ingredients:
35ml Johnnie Walker Gold Label Reserve
20ml lemon juice
15ml sugar syrup
60ml cloudy apple juice
Dash of lemon bitters

Glass: Highball

Method: shake all ingredients then strain over cubed ice

Garnish: Lemon wedge and mint sprig


3 | Going for Gold

Simple to make, perfect for after-work. 

Ingredients:
50ml Johnnie Walker Gold Label Reserve
1 Bob’s Vanilla Bitters infused with sugar cube
5ml Gingermbre syrup 

Glass: Old fashioned

Method: Stir and dilute to taste 

Garnish: Bar cherry and orange zest

4 | Johnnie Walker Blossom

A curated match of dark fruits that works with the whiskey to create a Martini-esque cocktail.

Ingredients:
50ml Johnnie Walker Gold Label Reserve
25ml Camomile gomme
5 blackberries

Glass: Martini

Method: Shake all ingredients with ice and double strain into a chilled martini glass

Garnish: Two blackberries
