Ridley Scott's decision to re-shoot a large part of his Getty kidnap drama All The Money In The World with Christopher Plummer taking over from Kevin Spacey after the former's sexual misconduct allegations has been largely praised. Scott completed the re-shoots in just 10 days, assembling his team to work over the holidays.

However, news that Mark Wahlberg negotiated a further $1.5 million for his time, while co-lead Michelle Williams worked for just an $80 per diem, has further highlighted the Hollywood (and let's face it, universal) inequality gap between men and women.

Wahlberg has obviously been listening to his critics. On Saturday 13th January, he donated the entirety of his re-shoot fee to the Times Up movement in Williams' name. The movement protests sexual harassment, as well as offering financial support to female and male actors in Hollywood wishing to speak out about their own experiences of inequality, harassment or abuse, and was highlighted by the near-universal decision to wear black at the Golden Globes.

"Today isn’t about me," Williams said on learning of the donation. "My fellow actresses stood by me and stood up for me, my activist friends taught me to use my voice and the most powerful men in charge, they listened and they acted."

"If we truly envision an equal world, it takes equal effort and sacrifice," she continued before going on to thank actor Anthony Rapp, who first spoke out against Spacey. "Today is one of the most indelible days of my life because of Mark Wahlberg, WME and a community of women and men who share in this accomplishment. Anthony Rapp, for all the shoulders you stood on, now we stand on yours."
