Now, before we get into this, let's just make it clear that this could all be a huge coincidence, one that makes the Game of Thrones writers look very good. It could also be that this is literally nothing but a conspiracy theory cooked up by obsessive fans that will turn any slight detail into Game of Thrones symbolism. Think of it as Pizzagate for people obsessed with a show about dragons rather than say, the Clintons.
So, here's the theory. In the very first episode of Game of Thrones, King Robert makes his grand entrance to Winterfell. Enjoy this moment because it's literally the only time anyone on this show is happy. Robert rolls up with his squad, gets out, and only greets a few very specific members of the Stark family. WHAT DOES IT MEAN? Either nothing—or this, as one Redditor noticed:
I'm not sure if all of this has been pointed out before, but it is worth bringing up. When Robert greets the Starks, he touches Ned, Cat, Robb, and Rickon. All of them die. He calls Sansa a pretty one, and she is later on kept and tormented by Joffrey as a trophy. Robert has Bran show him his muscles, and Bran becomes a cripple. He asks Arya's name, and later on she becomes No-One. Jon is behind a wall of Starks...
If it is a coincidence, it's certainly an eerie one. And that's even assuming the writers knew where the show was going when they were filming the very first episode. It almost makes you want to go back and watch the whole thing again during those long months before Season Eight. And considering he also predicted Daenerys's entire Dothraki battle strategy, maybe he was right about this one, too.
