Game of Thrones star Isaac Hempstead-Wright has apologised for his character Bran Stark being so annoying in season seven.

From his first Stark reunion with Sansa where he mentioned her horrific rape at the hands of Ramsay Bolton, it was clear that Bran was a bit weird now that he was the Three-Eyed Raven.

Hempstead-Wright has previously explained why Bran is how he is by saying he's "really like a giant computer", but has now gone further and apologised for Bran's attitude in the last season.

"Yeah, sorry about that. There were some cool bits to get to play, less so that creepy moment with Sansa. That was weird. I don't think Bran meant that in a weird way," he told Vulture.

"I don't think he's trying to freak his sister out by going, 'Yeah, I know everything. Don't f**k with me'. It's more like Bran is processing everything he's seen, like, 'I've seen you there. That happened to you. I'm sorry for what happened to you'.

"Bran has lost that emotional connection. He just states what he sees in an almost autistic way, not really connecting with things but just saying how they are.

"Saying 'chaos is a ladder' to Littlefinger was so cool, though. I felt so badass in that scene, like, 'Chaos is a ladder … yeeaaaah. How do you like that, Littlefinger?'"

To be honest, everyone has kind of moved on from weird Bran to that whole Bran Stark is the Night King theory, thanks to his fashion choices and an Easter egg in the season seven finale.

Hempstead-Wright might want to see the Night King on the Iron Throne, but he's been busy shutting down that whole theory as Bran "uses his powers for good".

We'll have to wait until Game of Thrones season eight to see if that holds true.
