While his status as the next Bond is still up in the air, Idris Elba is opening up a cocktail bar.
Setting up shop next month at London's Waldorf Hilton, the Parrot will be a tropically inspired bar and live music venue, helmed by Elba and twin brothers Lee and Nicky Caulfield, reports Eater.
According to the Parrot's Facebook page, the bar is partnering with Aston Martin (ahem, Bond's car) to be the first in London to offer chauffeur-driven VIP service to and from the location. It will also have "an incredible live band every evening" as well as "the occasional surprise guest along the way." And yes, they're hiring.
Elba is no stranger to nightlife; while the actor is best known for his characters in The Wire, the Avengers movies, and Luther, he also DJs frequently from London to Ibiza under his own name. And with his A-list group of Hollywood and music industry friends, the Parrot ought to be a star-studded affair.
