But Cristiano Ronaldo is still a man. A man who sometimes makes small mistakes when it comes to wearing a suit.

Photographed arriving in another dead and glistening airport terminal, Ronaldo turned a travel day into a FASHUN day in an undoubtedly very nice steel grey suit, finished off with a knit tie and some extremely Ronaldo aviator shades. The caption reads "Looking good."
So far, so Cristiano Ronaldo... but we have a few pointers.
Despite the unmistakable quality of his tailoring (he can afford it to be fair), Cristiano falls foul to two very common suit style mistakes, committed by both multi-multi-millionaire athletes and first interview teenagers alike.
The first error is the length of the sleeves on Ronaldo's blazer, which are a good two inches too long and are beginning to swallow his wrists. If you're wearing a suit that nice, the least you (and Ronaldo) can do is have a tailor trim up the sleeves.
Ideally you want to show an inch of shirt cuff, which will stop your arms from looking stumpy while also giving your watch a platform to get the eye balls and attention it deserves. Something it can't do beneath mountains of fabric.
The second issue is even smaller, yet all the more infuriating for it. Take a look at Ronaldo's tie. Do you not have an urge to just tighten it? Really, if you are an adult male pretending to know what you're doing in the real world, then a loose tie knot is inexcusable.
You've done the hard work and tied it, Cris, just make sure it stays tight... or at least get your man servant to keep it that way.
Despite these minor grievances, Ronaldo's suit is a good example of how well the right shade of dark grey can work for business, travel and more formal occasions. While the addition of the knit tie and clean white pocket square add balance in the accessories department.
