Mum always said good things come in small packages, and Christopher Ward's latest offering – the first of the British brand’s 20th anniversary year! – proves her right.

You see, what you're looking at here is the 36mm iteration of the Christopher Ward C63 Sealander GMT, a watch previously exclusively available in size 39mm. And its in no way inferior to its big bro. In fact, we think we might prefer it.

All of the lovable details of the OG are present, including the date function at six o'clock, the exhibition caseback and the raised indices. Plus, the brushed and polished Super Lumi-Nova hands, one of which (the orange one!) is the GMT hand that allows the wearer to keep track of a second timezone.

Upon launch, the marine-grade stainless steel timepiece will be available in three of the four dial colourways that the 39mm edition comes in – namely, 'black', 'white' and 'dragonfly blue'. That just leaves 'hunter green' which we're sure will follow shortly providing the 36mm style receives the love from the brand's cult following that it deserves.

There's also a choice in strap. Pick from the three-link stainless steel Bader Bracelet, the five link stainless steel Consort Bracelet and the rubber Aquaflex Strap, all easily interchangeable thanks to the model's quick-release system.

See! Small but mighty.

The Christopher Ward C63 Sealander GMT is now available on the brand's webstore, with prices starting at £905.
