Earlier this month, Esquire partnered with Glenmorangie whisky to gather the great and the good (that would be you) for our inaugural Innovation Salon, in which - over a few post-work cocktails in the plush environs of London's Home House - we quizzed the ever outspoken Wayne Hemingway MBE on design and innovation for the benefit of a roomful of Esquire readers.

As well as sharing the lessons learned from the multi-million pound success story of his Red Or Dead fashion empire, Wayne espoused the societal benefits of stylish, affordable housing, shed light on why he once turned up to the Institute of Directors in a skirt, and explained why his most ambitious project yet - Vintage at Goodwood - will also be his greatest.

Afterwards, it was back to the bar to focus on an innovation of a different kind: Glenmorangie's rare Signet blend, an exquisite single malt made from a rich, 'chocolate' malted barley, and matured in bourbon and new oak casks. Another tough evening out of the office then.
