Boardwalk Empire's back and whilst everyone's looking at the sharp suits - and rightly so - it's the casual attire that caught our eye.
We've talked about the problems with taking Boardwalk Empire's style a little too seriously. While this epidemic can be summed up in two words (Dwight Yorke) there's plenty to be learned from the show. The main aim should be to take inspirations whilst avoiding the 'ran through a vintage shop blindfolded' look.
One item that caught our eye this week was a fair isle sweater vest which was worn by one of Chalky White's henchman. Surprisingly, they managed to make the sweater vest, usually related to Worther's Originals, look threatening. A rare feat - although perfectly possible if you're beating someone to death while wearing it. If you want to emulate the look you'd be best off with this Drakes vest (Drakes, £110). Who knows, maybe Chalky White will recruit you?
