There's none like Chucs

Charles Finch, movie producer, manager, PR man and marketing guru has opened a shop called Chucs, which sells clothes to wear on holiday.

Inspired by both his grandfather’s Everest expedition kit and the swimming trunks that his father wore while holidaying in Jamaica, with Errol Flynn and Ian Fleming, Finch has designed a wardrobe of clothes that will cover a man’s travelling needs.

The swimming trunks were developed by tailors Anderson & Sheppard, but feature a Giles Deacon print, the safari jackets are made in the East End, and the blazers, when Finch is finally happy with them, will be based on a Rubinacci design.

Available are chunky cashmere sweaters, Bermuda shorts, T-shirts, polo shirts and UV shirts for surfing. We might just end up wondering what we ever did before Chucs opened for business.
