Orlebar Brown Polo Shirt

Britain’s foremost swimwear brand has recently introduced a range of Italian-made shirts, which include a polo shirt in terry cloth, or towelling cotton. We like this because of the outrageous shade of baby blue, because it can only really be worn on holiday and because it reminds us of Sean Connery’s resortwear in Dr. No.

Our only misgiving is that the fabric feels like it’s going to be pretty warm, when surely a man would only ever wear this in the sort of hot weather that calls for a traditional piqué cotton polo shirt: it’s lucky then that OB makes one of them too.
