British clothier Ben Sherman has gone great guns to shake off the 'this shirt were only a fiver from Sports World' stigma it achieved in the 90s. These days Sherman can be relied on for some pretty passable suits (the editor of Esquire himself is a fan) alongside the classic wardrobe staples it's been quietly churning out over the past half-decade.
This month sees the launch of Ben Sherman's "A Modern Classic" capsule collection. Not a dodgy pink shirt in sight, the range hits all the right notes with a selection of year-round essentials, including Breton-inspired jumpers, cap-sleeved nautical tees and slim cut chinos.
