Hope & Glory have produced a range football T-shirts for the World Cup, with £1 of each sale going to Sport Relief.
This is how an H&G spokesperson explains the logo : "The ‘10’ symbolises this year and the ‘hope’ is what we have for winning the World Cup. ‘66’ is the year England won it, and therefore the ‘glory’, while ‘1066’ represents the battle of Hastings.”
We're not sure what the Batle of Hastings has to do with the World Cup but as long as Wayne Rooney can avoid being shot in the eye with an arrow, or any similarly injurious incident, between now and June we're more than happy to go along with it. £29.
