The Thom Browne Take On Sunglasses

Wayfarers and aviators are obviously a summer staple but it's nice to see something a little more 'out there' on the sunglasses front and Thom Browne’s new round-lensed frames definitely fit the bill.

Thom Browne’s approach always borders on the eccentric (trademark cropped trousers, elephant-print jumpers and patchwork pastel suits) so it's no surprise to find these frames are something of a one-off themselves, apparently inspired by the architects, politicians and professors of the 40s and 50s.

Each pair is handmade in Japan from acetate and titanium, and features a 'custom four-stripe signature rivet hinge with and five-piece, tri-color temple tips' - everything you didn't know you wanted from your next pair of sunnies.
