Oscar Issac is about to have a very big year.

Starring in the Coen brother's film Inside Llewyn Davis, the Guatemalan-born actor plays a down-on-his-luck, Bob Dylan-esque Greenwich Village folk singer trying to make it in New York.

Not out until 24 January, the film has already been a critical smash, hailed as one of the directing duo's finest films (saying something, given they're already responsible for The Big LebowskiFargo and No Country For Old Men to name just three).

Ahead of the inevitable Oscar nods, Isaac modelled this Winter's hottest colour for the January issue of Esquire – camel – as well as speaking about Inside Llewyn Davis and how he prepared by attending parties in character.
